Renewal by Andersen of Central PA is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Human Resources team as an HR Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and general HR operations. 

  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters, employment contracts, and new hire paperwork.
  • Coordinate new hire orientations and assist with onboarding activities, including conducting background checks and collecting required documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and paper filing systems.
  • Process employee status changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance with HR-related matters.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, performance management processes, and training programs.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed for HR management.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data security and integrity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a Human Resources department, is desirable but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with HRIS or other HR software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and eagerness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
